All Montana Woodworks lodge pole pine is harvested in an environmentally responsible manner, using no heavy equipment and only harvesting trees that have naturally died. Skilled artisans carefully assemble the footstool using the mortise and tenon joinery method.
This one of a kind "Glacier Country" look is achieved by removing the outer bark while leaving the inner stratum or "Cambium" layer. The "Glacier Country" items are lacquered with three coats of premium grade, clear lacquer.
